Part of the Teach For All network
Teach For Uzbekistan is one of 63 independent organizations around the world that share one idea: young leaders teaching in the schools that need them most.
What Teach For All is
Teach For All is a global network of independent, locally led and governed partner organizations. Each of them recruits promising young leaders to teach for two years in under-resourced schools and communities of its own country. Afterwards, many of them keep working — inside and outside education — so that every child can fulfil their potential.
The network was launched in 2007 by Wendy Kopp, who founded Teach For America in 1989, and Brett Wigdortz, who founded Teach First in the United Kingdom. Its global organization connects the partners so that they learn from one another, and supports new partners as they start.
Teach For Uzbekistan in the network
Teach For Uzbekistan became an official partner of Teach For All in September 2024. Like every partner, it is an independent organization of its own country: it selects its own Fellows, works under its own Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, and answers to its own Board of Trustees.
