On 1 March 2025, an online session introducing Teach For Uzbekistan was held for Uzbek students and graduates studying in the United Kingdom. The event was organized in cooperation with the Uzbekistan Students’ Union in the UK and the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the United Kingdom.
The session aimed to introduce talented young people studying abroad to opportunities to contribute to Uzbekistan’s education system and to show how international knowledge and experience can be applied to the country’s development.
During the event, Teach For Uzbekistan International Recruitment and Education Consultant Elyor Khasanov provided an overview of the program. It is designed to attract talented young professionals to school education, strengthen their teaching and leadership skills, and support their contribution to educational change. Applications are open not only to graduates with teaching degrees but also to candidates from other academic backgrounds who are interested in education.
Students and graduates asked questions about the program, career prospects in education, and the learning and financial support available to participants.
Teach For Uzbekistan also planned similar outreach sessions for Uzbek young people in other countries, helping raise awareness of opportunities in education and engage candidates with international experience.
